Long Mechanical was started by Glenn and Lois Long out of their home in 1949 with their first showroom opening in 1954 on Seven Mile Road. As the company grew the showroom was moved to downtown Northville, first on Dunlap then to its current location on E. Main. From the little mom and pop operation that began more than 50 years ago, Long’s now consists of four divisions with more than 70 professional team members.
