Logo - Lorla's

A small shop big on style! Miz Mooz, Diego di Lucca, Pink, Sam Edelman, American Eagle, BCBG Girls & more . . . big names, big on fashion, yet small town convenience! Two years ago Lauren Beras rented space in one of Northville’s oldest buildings and established a one-of-a-kind boutique brimming with shoes, purses and accessories for women of all ages. From casual daytime shoes and boots to shoes for evening wear Lorla’s has an extensive selection of shoes in a variety of price ranges to fit any budget. Lorla’s carries shoes from Brazil, Italy, Japan, Africa, Turkey, and of course, the USA. You can find Franco Sarto, Kenneth Cole Reaction and select American Eagle brand footwear, as well as the new look in Keds. Without compromising the history of the building, Lauren has brought personality, charm & sole to Center Street.

Lorla’s is definitely a ladies boutique, but no need to worry. Lorla’s is not only kid friendly, but also husband friendly! For children good as gold while mom shops, they can reach into the hole in the wall for a chocolate gold coin. Tucked back in the corner is a TV showing Nickelodeon for the kids and ESPN for patient husbands.

Fall has arrived and b-r-r-r . . .
winter will not be far behind!

Shop for the latest in fall & winter fashions in footwear and handbags. Warm fuzzy slippers and stylish boots to complement your ensemble have arrived.

Lorla’s is shoes and so much more!

JewelryLorla’s has one-of-a-kind necklaces, bracelets and earrings from around the world. Wear a piece of history with artifacts of Ancient Roman Glass excavated in Israel carbon dating to 2500 BC. Lorla’s is the only shop east of Idaho to carry this jewelry, which is owned by stars such as Christina Aguilara, Hally Berry and NBA Coach, Phil Jackson. African Hope Crafter’s Jewelry is designed and created by men, women and children in Africa with HIV/AIDS and has arrived in Northville. A portion of all the proceeds is returned to them.

Christmas is just around the corner!

Pink shoeShoes and handbags are the obvious choice, but Lorla’s has other great gift ideas . . . shoe ornaments , “Her Majesty” shoe hammers by Ganz, leather wallets & belts, and Small Frye and Baby Puma for those not quite ready to walk.

Meet the Proprietor -
Lauren Beras

Lauren Beras pursued many career choices on her journey to Lorla’s Shoes & Accessories each one teaching a valuable lesson in operating a successful boutique. Lauren worked 14 years in the restaurant industry, she has worked in the Henry Ford Health System and has been an event planner.

Before Lorla’s was a reality Lauren did her homework studying Northville’s demographics zeroing in on Northville’s clientele. Lauren and many of the other business owners of Northville have developed a working camaraderie benefiting each other’s business. If Lorla’s does not carry a specific item, she may refer you to one of the boutiques down the street that has just what you are looking for. Lauren works in partnership with her husband, Bob, and a friendly staff.

Q: Where did the name Lorla’s come from?

A: Lorla is a nickname given to Lauren by her niece many years ago.

Q: What is the significance of the black cat in the logo?

A: Cats are loyal, sassy & unpredictable. Things are always changing at Lorla’s with sassy new styles, yet customer service & friendly staff remain loyal.
