The snowboarding industry exploded in the 1980’s and its popularity is stronger than ever in the 2007! Snowboarding apparel is available in men’s and women’s sizes ranging from small to extra large.

Town and Country carries snowboards by Burton, the leader in the market, and Forum Snowboards including boards specifically for men, women, and children ages three and up. Burton Snowboards have all wood cores and full metal-wrap edges, which are perfect for boarding at the all the ski resorts. Traveling? Whether your traveling to a local ski slope or cross country to a resort, you’ll need a case for easy handling and protection. In most cases a lightweight bag will do, but if your travel plans require a flight you’ll want Burton’s snowboard bags made especially for airline handling. Burton bags are equipped with wheels and lots of protective padding.

SAME DAY SERVICE
(in most cases)

Proprietors, Doc and Tim, believe in every product they sell and do more than just sell bikes and boards. They want to do everything they can to assure your biking and boarding time is as enjoyable as it can be.

No matter what the season. . . be ready! Snowboards need annual tune ups including waxing and edge sharpening. Bring your board in for service or do it yourself. Tools are available at Town and Country for the do-it-yourselfer.

NOW FAST FORWARD TO SPRING . . .

Town and Country has bicycles for everyone in the family including bikes by Raleigh, Kona, kid’s bikes by Harol, and the latest in bikes by Electra. From retro cruisers to tandem, recumbents, and racing bikes, helmets and accessories . . . look no further than Town and Country Bike and Board.

In the nineteen sixties 148 North Center Street was home to a meat market before the space was transformed into Town and County Cyclery. Over the years the business has changed hands three times. Current proprietors, Doc and Tim, got their start working at the cycle shop before they turned their passion into their livelihood in 1989. In keeping with the explosion of snowboarding, Town and Country Cyclery added snowboarding equipment to their stock and underwent a name change to the current Town and Country Bike and Board.
